"Slippy? Can you hear me?"

The crackling of Fox's intercom echoed down the sewer, reverberating off each wall and concealing the sloshing sounds of someone else's careful footsteps behind him.

The sewer roof was cluttered with debris - rusted pipes, corroded wires and tattered materials that wafted slowly in some unnatural breeze. The things that tangled over his arms; that brushed over his ears and head; that caught his feet under the water weren't the issue. If he kept his head low enough and trudged through the thick water, stepping lightly to make sure his boots didn't slip on the sludge underneath he felt he would fine. The fact was, his entire surroundings were made of a dense, impenetrable metal, which blocked signals from going in or out - isolating him.

Each turn he took, the sewer seemed to suck up more and more of whatever light was available, and there hadn't been much to begin with. He hadn't thought to bring a flashlight, and now all he had was a square screen attached to his wrist that kept track of coordinates and had a small radar that beeped incessantly.It cast a red light out across the water and anything else that was close enough, giving an ominous environment and even more threatening appearance. Every now and then he thought he saw a shadow on the surface of the water, but he couldn't bring himself to turn around. A chill rolled down his spine and tail.

Then, suddenly - a break through.

"F-Fox!" Slippy's voice went in and out, trying to overcome the debilitating signal, "Can't see you... the monitor - a trap."

"What?" Fox held his intercom closer.

"A trap!"

The beeping from his wrist picked up abruptly, keeping in time with his racing heartbeat. He felt waves from the sewer water bump against his leg, and then splashing as something came barreling toward him. Before he could turn around or even think to defend himself, the sound a trigger clicked.

Oh man, I am so bad at fan fiction-y type stuff, please don't hate me. This is for the contest :iconlylat-legacies:

I got an idea for it shortly after reading about it and decided to get it out of the way before things inevitably got too busy. But, um, I know it's not like, an ACTUAL battle or anything. But it's about to become one? Does that count?

I think that is the only one drawing where appears Kursed trying to kill Fox. I wanted to see something as this, is very unique :D.

What are you talking about? I think you did a good job with the fanfiction/story thing. What happens next? And who's that in the background... looks kindof like Krystal.

Hmm Idk this one just has this really erie look to it!! But the whole picture is outstanding!! Very good!!

Hmm I was just thinking of a perfect tone or sound that would go great with this as if this was a game scene or something!! Listen to this and just picture Fox walking around the dark quiet sewers not knowing where he is or whats behind him!! This music adds that erie effect just a touch more!! [link]
